About Us
The Helix Nebula is an LGBTQIA+ safe space venue hidden away in the Lavender Beds for the past 3 years. Our purpose is to promote love, inclusion and good vibes -AKA that thing called "having fun". This is just a place to chill, enjoy time with friends and maybe make new ones ♥When do we open? We open, when we open. If you know, you'll know. Just keep an eye out on this site, perhaps a party finder Ad on Aether or if you happen to follow one of our staff members on blusky then you'll possibly see a flyer when we open. Otherwise, there is no discord to have to join, there is no shouts in your cities. We won't be part of that clutter.

All we ask that you just be yourself, come with friends, or meet new friends and clear your mind of your worries, and just have some fun. We enjoy providing a safe place to come vibe, dance, roleplay at our bar with drinks, food and just chill.

Midnight Fog Cocktailâ–²

Midnight Fog marries the warm, dark oaky notes of bourbon and scotch with the sweet spiciness of black plum syrup infused with activated charcaol powder to give it that jet black color. The added Lemon juice provides some lift, and Angostura bitters add depth of flavor. While this is a spirit forward cocktail (literally and figuratively) the sinnamon (you read that correctly) and rosemary kick off a spice before the dry ice causes a billowing fog from the glass

A rare Black Absinthe imported from The Void that comes in a bottle shaped like a Hyur's skull. Meticulously poured ice cold Gridanian Water over the dark plum sugar cubes that cause a spirit to awaken inside of this liquor causing the inside of the dark brooding drink to emit a red glow from within. We're told the red glow is the memories of an ancient memoria crystals contained within the Absinthe. Use caution when drinking more than one of these as it could cause you to become enthralled to the music.

Fresh rapid baked pizza from dough prepared the day of opening. Delicious seasoned marinara topped with fresh cheese, pepperoni and even MORE cheese.
If that's not enough for the naysayers of "its too much cheese!" the crust is stuffed with even more extra plump sticks of more melted cheese!!

Here is the overall planned changes happening now:- The server will be renamed "The Helix Nebula". The role named "Star" will be renamed to "Helix Nebula Family". The role "Extended Universe" will be removed and all those in it will be listed under Helix Nebula Family.- Those in the FC will still be under the role Andromeda for FC channel access and your rank roles should reflect the icon next to your name still.- The server here will still not be public, we still want this to be a safe place to be and only those that are here are allowed to invite their friends they'd like to be here with them.- There will still be FC only channels and all the public channels we have for XIV stays of course but we'll moving all of them into one category for FFXIV.- Social Galaxy will absorb all channels from Media Star Cluster. Introductions channel not just for ffxiv characters but for just introducing yourself, or your ffxiv character, or just any character you play in general, or to just say hello. In-Game-Images will be renamed gaming-screenshots and is for any and all games.- Social Galaxy will gain two forums for discussion topics for [movies-tvshows-plays] and [podcasts-streamers]- The support and venting channels under Retrograde will stay and not change. The category will simply be renamed Retrograde Support.- We'll add categories for other games and mmorpgs that are active or that we lead. Examples are WoW (will have private guild channel and the rest will be public channels. Possibly Aion2 coming next year if it becomes popular. Other mmos we will give them their own channels, more info below about those.- We'll be adding a general chat for "other games" since forums get overlooked sometimes and also one named "other mmorpgs". Both of those will be in the alternate universe category soon to be renamed to Gayming Multiverse. The forums for pc games, console and tcg and boardgames stay. If a game is too popular we'll give the game it's own category and channels which we will already give some to Guild Wars 2 and ESO. Am open to other channels if you want it out of the forums space, just let us know.- The split roles for your FC ranks stay, however how the user list of the discord shows who is online will just list leaders/mod ranks and Helix Nebula Family.- Voice Chat channels stay the same, will move the category for them towards the bottom of the chat channels. If you all invite more friends to be here and the voice channels need more rooms, we'll add more to them if needed for grouping in other games.Other removals/changes of some categories & channels:
Zodiark Universe channels (includes xiv jobs, guides, spoilers) all move to FFXIV.Nox Vitae and channels to be deleted as they're literally dead channels so please save any shared screenshots, gposes you want now from them.Renaming "Alternate Universe" category to "Gayming Multiverse".---------------------------That so far is the plan. Will reorganize the chat channels over time at some point soon but no set actual date on being finished as it'll get done as time permits. So expect things to move little by little for now.What we hope, is this allows a gayming space for your friends not in xiv, to make even more friends here and vice versa together.
